Who Is Molly Schurig?

 

Designer. Adventurer. Space Cowboy -- Actually that last one isn't true as I have a terrible fear of heights.

 

I go by many names; Mollywood, Molls Bolls, Mali-Wan, Mollypop. But my favorite is Darth Moll.

 

I obtained my Bachelors in Visual Arts from Brigham Young University and my Masters in Illustration (under the Graphic Design umbrella) from Nottingham Trent University. A lifelong anglophile, England seemed like the best place to continue my education.

 

I have broad experience due to the myriad of jobs I've held:  from screen printer to art teacher, to analyst for a government contractor, and as a creative director with a small team of designers and writers.

 

When not designing or illustrating, I spend my time trying out new baking recipes and filling my husband with cookies, playing with my derpilicious Alaskan Husky (seriously, she's ridiculously silly), or crocheting.

 

The best way to spend my day is creating!
